It has begun
It’s official, my friends! Today was THE official Day 1 of construction on the house project (I won’t bore you with all the gory details of why the whole thing was delayed because no one could value a strawbale home in order to give it a proper market appraisal so that we could get a home equity loan - sigh. Suffice it to say that that’s all taken care of now - phew).
So, the first step in the puzzle is to finish the strawbale workshop shed (likely a 6-week project) in order to move all the freezers (that house the broiler chickens, lamb sausage, and beef) out of the second floor of the house.
Today Phil spent the day cleaning out the workshop shed in preparation for the electrician to come tomorrow.
