Yesterday we spent the day with some of the greatest people on this earth - Phil’s family and extended family. We gathered in Benson, IL to celebrate Grandma Burke’s life and to lay her to rest. Of course it was bittersweet, but we all agreed that despite the circumstances, it was wonderful to see each other.
My children love their Aunt Sarah, or as we call her Aunt Sarie Cherry. We call this photo Bear Hug.
To all who were there, thank you for the great talks, good hugs, smiles and tears we shared yesterday. It was a good reminder that you all are such great people and we want to see you more often!
