This is our Advent calendar. It is a strand of sweet knitted pockets each with a numbered button. Our tradition is to fill each pocket each day with some of our Charity money that we set aside each week (not just Phil and me, the kids too!) throughout the year. I love this part of Christmas! We love to see how much we have collected at the end of Advent and then go together as a family and buy much needed supplies for our favorite Charity, the Lawrence Community Shelter.
